Wedding Receptions near Islington Town Hall
Frederick’s is half a mile from Islington Town Hall — a ten minute walk from that handsome Portland stone façade to the reception.
Frederick’s is licensed to hold weddings and civil partnerships, so you can marry and celebrate in one space, or stroll down from the Town Hall after the ceremony. We host weddings of every size, from a table of four, to private rooms of forty, up to full-hire celebrations of 200, and our two dedicated wedding organisers will be delighted to help with the arrangements for your big day. We have been part of Islington weddings for over fifty years. Below are the rooms and their capacities, how the day tends to run, and the questions couples ask most.

About private dining
The day
From Town Hall to table
Islington Town Hall on Upper Street is one of London’s most-booked civil ceremony venues. When the ceremony is done, it is a short walk down to Camden Passage — no coaches, no cross-town convoy. Your guests can arrive to a drink in the garden while the two of you catch your breath.
How to get here
The food
A menu that tastes of the restaurant
Wedding menus are built with our head chef from the same seasonal kitchen we cook from every day — not a separate banqueting card. Menus can be fixed or pre-ordered per guest, and the wine list is chosen to match. Dietary requirements are handled individually.
