Sadler’s Wells 2026/27: The Season, and Where to Eat Around It
02/09/2026
Alvin Ailey, English National Ballet, Tango After Dark and Matthew Bourne's Cinderella, ten minutes from the table.
Family run since 1969
Just 150m from the Business Design Centre — a three minute walk from Angel station — Frederick’s is the natural home for exhibitor lunches and client dinners.
Our set lunch is £30 for two courses (Tuesday to Friday), and our private rooms handle anything from a board dinner to a 200-guest reception. The BDC hosts 130 events a year — from the London Art Fair and The Podcast Show to Mines & Money and Country Living — and we have fed its exhibitors, delegates and their clients for as long as the venue has run in its modern form. Here are the practical details event organisers ask for.

The original first-floor drawing room of the house, seating up to 26 guests, with its own bar area, private loos and cloakroom, and a concealed TV for presentations or video calls.
See the Clarence Room
Ground floor, with a private bar, its own terrace and a 75-inch screen — hook up a laptop for presentations or play your own music through the room’s AV system. 40 seated, or 50 standing.
See the Club Room
The whole of Frederick’s — dining rooms, bar, conservatory and garden — seating 120 or hosting 200 for a canapé reception. Available Sundays and Mondays.
